Photography
Photography is a hobby of mine. I was introduced to the photography world when I was a teenager. My brother had just bought his first SLR and was learning to use it. He loved to experiment with it and I was his favourate subject. I was also his favourate assistant. He made me stand around with reflectors for lighting, he made me do all sorts of stuff. While doing this I became interested in photography. Unfortunately for me my brother did not let me play with his SLR much so I kinda lost interest after a while.
The whole thing started again when I heard about digital cameras. The now ubiquitous digital was a novelty back then. The very idea of being able to take any number of pictures without worrying about the cost of film or of development makes digital an attractive deal for amatures like me. I saved up money to get my own digital when I was studying engineering.
With the amoung I had saved and a little help from my dad I got myself a Kodak DX3600. Which was quiet impressive for the time. It took pictures at 2MP.
Thats how I got started and the rest is as they say history.
Some of the best pictures I have taken are with my current camera which is a Kodak DX6490. It is no DSLR but it has been good to me during the past 3 years I have had it for.
